UNLV makes over 300 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to hand out to the homeless each month. This is a special treat for our homeless.

Central Christian Church supports the Mission by bringing youth teams and church groups to the Mission. The teams work on special projects, and serve the homeless meal.

Wilhelm Elementary collected bottled water and socks for our local homeless. After the homeless meal on Saturday the homeless were given a water bottle and pair of socks.

UNLV’s A.P.H.P. Humanitarian students volunteer here at the Mission two times a month. The students really enjoy volunteering here at the Mission.

BJ’s Restaurant volunteers here every other month with a big smile on their faces. BJ’s also caters a wonderful meal for our resident’s meal.

Cheyenne High School’s students visited the Mission to serve the homeless meal. The group served over 450 meals.

Everest College is happy to volunteer here at the Mission on a monthly basis. The students and staff help serve the homeless meal and resident meal.

Green Valley Christian School staff and parents brought 4th graders and high school students to help us with several projects here at the Mission. The students sorted over 50 bags of clothing, and helped in the kitchen.

Southern Utah University travels to Las Vegas at least twice a year to help the Las Vegas Valley’s health care system, and the Mission. The group of students administer health checks which include height, weight, blood pressure, and glucose checks to our residents and overnighters. The students also volunteer in our kitchen during the homeless meal and resident evening meal.

Lincoln Christian Academy volunteers here at the Mission once a year for several days at a time. The group volunteers in the kitchen, sorts clothes, and assists the Thrift Store with pricing, and organizing.

H.R.C. helps the Mission in a variety of ways from volunteering in the kitchen, giveaways, food/toy drives, and Easter baskets.

Blue Tuesday (Canyon Ridge) had a blast volunteering here at the Mission on February 26th during our resident evening meal.

Ticor Title brings a group of 10-15 volunteers once a month to serve the resident evening meal. Ticor Title gives back to the community in a number of ways including volunteering here at the Mission.

Touro University offers Wellness Checks to our overnighters and residents once a month. The Wellness Checks include height/weight, Glucose screening, and blood pressure checks. Touro’s students volunteer in our kitchen at least once a month. The school participates in our Annual Food Drive, and this year the school is supporting our Bottled Water Drive.

Friends of Moapa reached out to all of our Food and Toy Drive participants to express our sincere appreciation for each individual and company that participated in our record setting year. The group of 7 completed over 400 calls within an hour.

Kaplan College volunteered at the Mission as part of Serve-A-Thon. The group worked in the Thrift Store, sorted bags of clothing, cleaned the walk-in refrigerator , sorted barrels of food, and entertained the kids with an Arts & Crafts project.
