DINNER ON US is more than just a meal for the homeless; it's about people giving their time and putting their different talents to work to enrich other people's life. Opportunity Village is a solid partner with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission! Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people in the Southern Nevada community with intellectual disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Opportunity Village is dedicated to helping people with severe intellectual and related disabilities become the very best they can be. Through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation, citizens with severe disabilities are able to find new friends, realize future career paths, seek independence and community integration and unleash creative passions.

Due to an abundance of cold weather clothing recently donated; the Las Vegas Rescue Mission was able to help Logos Mission in Kiev Ukraine with their winter needs.   Over 1000 lbs. of clothing was shipped.

A group of volunteers are giving away hygiene kits that include a toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, razor, and deodorant.

The U. S. Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., reports directly to Air Combat Command. The Center was founded Sept. 1, 1966, as the U.S. Air Force Tactical Fighter Weapons Center. It was renamed the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center in October 2005.

Association of Pre-Health Professionals (APHP) and Minority Students in Sciences Program (MSSP) are two organizations that focuses on providing an outlet for humanitarian events, fundraising events, leadership, physician shadowing, and networking opportunities with existing professional schools.
