The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is looking for a Security Supervisor to join our Operations Department. We are a private, faith-based organization that serves our community by offering a safe place for men and women to break the cycle of homelessness and addiction.
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission has a team of Security Guards who operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are a vital part of the Operations Department and help ensure the safety and smooth operation of the Mission, for clients, staff and visitors alike.
The Security Supervisor oversees a team of Security Guards and the team together helps to secure the premises and personnel by patrolling the property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings; equipment, and access points and permitting entry to the property. In doing so, the Security Supervisor must comply with all standards and directions specified by the Security Manager, Director of Operations, and Mission policy.
A Security Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner with other facility staff members, residents, clients, volunteers and donors. They must also have an aptitude for working outdoors for the duration of their shift in all seasons and weather.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, offering a competitive benefit package and paid vacation. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
