01/13/2021: With ongoing developments regarding COVID-19, we have made some changes to the operations on our property to ensure our staff, residents and shelter guests remain safe and healthy.

  • Evening Community Meal: Packaged dinners and water are provided to those outside the gate each evening starting at 5:00pm and ending at 5:45pm.
  • In-Kind Donations: Contact 702-932-8170 or email donations@vegasrescue.org for details on drop off or pick ups. Only pick ups and drop offs of furniture are being accepted at this time and are NOT accepted on Sunday’s or Monday’s. Clothing donations are ON HOLD temporarily as of 1/13/2020.
  • Shelter Intake: You can review our new policy on intakes as of 01/13/21 here vegasrescue.org/emergencyshelter. Check back often for updates.

  • Thrift Store: Open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30am to 3pm.
  • Volunteers: Limited shifts are now available as of 12/17/2020. Visit our volunteer page for more details.
  • Community Service: We are not currently providing community service hours.
  • Produce Giveaway: Thursday’s from 9am to 11am.
  • Food Boxes: This service has been temporarily suspended for those with an out of state ID.
  • Giveaway House: If in desperate need, clothing can be picked up at front gate.

As a nonprofit Christian organization, the Mission receives no government support; we rely solely upon the compassion and support of concerned individuals, churches, corporations, and other organizations.

We work around the clock to assist those who need the most help in our community.

Note: As of 3/17/20 we stopped intake temporarily due to COVID-19 and this resumed on a case by case basis at the end of June. In phase 2 the Gov of NV mandated 50% capacity only for shelter.
