Recovery Program Supervisor
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is looking for a Recovery Program Supervisor to join our team. We are a private, faith-based organization that serves our community by offering a safe place for adult men and women to break the cycle of homelessness and/or addiction.
The Recovery Program Supervisor is directly responsible for the day to day management of the men’s and women’s Lighthouse Recovery Department. The Las Vegas Rescue Mission currently operates as a Level 3.1 Low Intensity Residential Treatment program. The Recovery Program Supervisor will directly supervise the clinical and case management staff and reports to the Director of Programming. The function of the Recovery Program Supervisor is to evaluate programming, look at ways for enhancement and ensure operations of recovery are effective and efficient. They work in conjunction the Shelter Supervisor to ensure coordination of care is appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Directly Supervise and provide leadership to all Recovery staff
- From intake to discharge, assist with the development, implementation and continued assessment of a quality, effective, holistic, recovery program that promotes physical, psychological, and spiritual growth/wellbeing of clients; provide recommendations to Director of Programming.
- Implement and/or update existing standards, policies and procedures related to the Recovery Department with Director of Programming.
- Network with agencies and build community relationships pertinent to recovery; attend community Coalition and Committee meetings, and provide reports to Director of Programming.
- Provide direct practices to clients (assessments, groups, individuals) as needed; small case load of 5-10) as needed.
- Flexible with work hours and provide on call assistance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Management experience
- Previous experience working with vulnerable populations preferred
- Understanding of opioid addiction treatment and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services
- HMIS Data Entry/ EHR experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Understands person centered practices
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook, MS Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, offering a competitive benefit package and paid vacation. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
